Carboganic is the expert in the field of biocarbon compounding concentrates.
Founded as a spinout of CAPAX in 2021 by Bart Tambuyser, who has over 20 years of experience in biomass, biochar and biocarbon.
Carboganic is co-financed by INVERTR Investments BV, a family office in cleantech with a 50 year background in thermoplastics and pyrolysis.
Moreover, Carboganic is supported by one Vlaio-subsidy granted in 2019 and one Vlaio-subsidy granted in 2023.
The Carboganic office and laboratory
The Carboganic office and laboratory is based at the incubator for sustainable chemistry BlueChem, located in Antwerp (BE). Here we have our own equipment available to modify trial volumes of biocarbon to BC2U engineered biocarbons suitable for compounding.
Furthermore, Carboganic is developing a demo plant in Temse (BE), with a wide capacity of BC2U masterbatch to prove the concept to potential biocarbon licensee producers and compounders. It is expected that this Carboganic demo plant will be fully operational before the end of 2025.
