Filament printing is one of the most established forms of additive manufacturing, built around the precise, controlled extrusion of polymer filaments. This approach enables the creation of highly accurate parts with fine detail and consistent geometry.
About filament printing
Thanks to its reliability and dimensional precision, filament printing has become a go-to technology for prototyping and tooling, as well as for producing small series of functional components. Its accessibility and predictable results have helped make it a foundational process in modern additive manufacturing workflows.
Incorporating biocarbon improves the printability while at the same time being more environmentally friendly and safer thanks to reduced VOC emissions.

Types of carboganic filaments
BC2U FIL PLA
A plant-based 3D printing material reinforced with a carbon-rich filler made from wood. The biocarbon increases stiffness and dimensional stability, helping reduce warping and produce more accurate, rigid prints. It also gives parts a natural matte finish that hides layer lines. Because biocarbon replaces part of the virgin plastic with a carbon-negative material, it lowers the environmental footprint while maintaining easy printability on standard FDM printers.

FAQ FILAMENT
Does biocarbon filled filament require special printers or hardware?
No specialized printers are required. Biocarbon filled filament is compatible with standard FFF/FDM printers. While biocarbon is generally less abrasive than glass or carbon fiber, a hardened steel nozzle is recommended for long-term use to minimize wear and maintain consistent print quality. Drying is essential.
Are printing temperatures and settings different from standard filament materials?
